 Our Thoughts:
We all are waiting for good news. We love for the telephone to ring and someone let us in on a 'piece of the good news'. Sometimes, it's the birth of a new, healthy baby, with proud parents announcing the birth. It might be that someone has gotten a new job and wanted to share the happiness they've found.
For us to have a child or grandchild on the road or on the plane, we have anxiety pains, until we get that phone call, announcing all if fine! When one visits their doctor, they always want to hear 'good news'. Some hold their breath, waiting to hear the news, fearing the worse.
The BEST 'good news' is that Jesus is alive and well. If you don't know him as your Savior, this Christmas season, while we celebrate His birth, is a wonderful time to come to know Him. Or, perhaps you've become complacent in your worship to Him. The good news is that He is waiting for you to come back to Him. If you are sincere, then He will not
turn His back on you. Receive the peace and joy in your hearts that can be yours this season by getting to know Jesus Christ as your FATHER.
God's Thoughts:
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the good news of salvation through your Son, Christ Jesus. Many need you this Christmas season, and we pray for those and their needs. We give you praise! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
