 Our Thoughts:
One definition of custom is 'made to order'. For years, I made custom drapes and all the things that went with them, including
valances, cornice boards, bedspreads, pillows, and table cloths, runners, and even fancy commode covers. There wasn't much I wouldn't try, if someone wanted it. That was my profession and
I loved doing it. You can't get custom in the store.
You can buy custom cars - have them come with whatever amenities you want. Custom, in the human realm, costs more, too. Some people want 'custom', but they want to pay a
K Mart price. You've always heard the saying, 'you get what you pay for'......unless you get it on sale.
God has a custom touch, though, that He has given us for serving Him. It's the everlasting covenant that He made with His people. God sent His Son, Jesus, to bear our sins on
the cross, to shed His blood, that we might be redeemed, to spend eternity with Him.
God has made us 'covenant partners', if we 'do whatsoever I command'. [John 15:14] Man's custom touch can make us feel better about our homes, our lives; but, God's custom touch will give us
HOPE for tomorrow, and life eternal.
God's Thoughts:

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, when we were yet sinners, you died for us. Thank you for the custom touch of the everlasting covenant, that we can spend eternity with you. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
