Daily Dose of God's Word At
Barbara's EntourageIn His Service
Our Thoughts:
I received an email last night that assured me that I didn't know 'English', and should learn it before trying to write it.
I was amazed, seeing that this person couldn't make a whole sentence, but, instead, wrote in fragments. I thought, 'I'm not perfect', but, who is, according to man's standard? I know
you and I both know people who 'think' they are perfect. Their houses are spotless, and you feel like an intruder walking in, feeling as though the shoes have to come off, although they are clean.
Here in our 'home', we live and enjoy our surroundings. I keep a 'clean' house, but not a perfect one. If you are a 'perfect housekeeper', then, perhaps you wouldn't enjoy coming to mine. The grandkids
feel right at home and know they won't be scolded for walking in with their shoes on their feet. The only time I want them off is when they are wet or muddy. They feel free to get out the games and puzzles and
clutter up the floors or tables.
I am, by no means, perfect. I do my best in whatever I do. I pray that God will help me walk the straight and narrow path to Glory. What man thinks of me only matters here on earth. What I do here
only reflects my secular being. It's what I do for the Kingdom that matters. It's His will that I want to do, not man's. Doesn't matter whether I please man or not, but, I must try to please God. I want to be fruitful
in my walk; therefore, I do what God has called me to do - share the gospel with the lost. My way of doing this is through the web site that God made available. If it doesn't measure up to man, then so be it. But, God
has yet to reprimand me for something I've written for Him. I hope all who come here are blessed, even if my ENGLISH isn't perfect.
God's Thoughts:
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I'm not perfect, and don't claim to be. But, I want to be 'mature' in your Word, so that I can share it with the world that doesn't know you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
