It's 'All or Nothing'

Our Thoughts:

As a child, I remember other children who weren't satisfied with what they had. They wanted to claim what you had as well. They would always be fighting, trying to take away the other child's toys. And, when my children came along, my son, who was the older one, always thought what he had was his, and what his sister had was his. Typical child! And, I've seen that same attitude in some of my grandchildren. It's not that they are mean spirited; just that their little minds haven't comprehended the thought and truth of 'ownership' at the moment. Even some adults have this problem: look at all the shooting and robberies in our country. Someone wants what someone else has, and will go to any length to have it!

Over in the Holy Land, there is a battle going on. It's been going on for years. Arafat wants full control of Israel's territory. He has his people planting suicide bombs, believing it's okay to kill themselves in order to show a solidarity to their end plan. The will stop at nothing until the gain back what they feel is not the right of Israel have. But, they are mistaken and misguided in their 'cause'. Israel is the land of God's people. God is not going to stand by and let others steal it from them. But, those that aren't following the Bible will continue to fight until the last day, to try and get back what they feel is theirs to obtain. It's only going to bring destruction upon their heads.

In our spiritual lives, it's 'all or nothing'. You either are ALL for GOD, or you are for the enemy. The scripture says that you can't 'serve two masters'.[Matt 6:24] You are either obeying God's Word, or you are for the devil. No two ways about it! You either are believing in the promises of God, or you are letting the devil string you along! So many are going to miss the mark by letting the world enter their lives, and they become complacent in their beliefs. God said he'd rather have you hot or cold, not lukewarm, or he'd spew you out of his mouth! [Rev 3:16] So come out from under the holds of the enemy, renew your vows to God, and get on the path to glory! God wants a people that is 'connected to HIM' in every facet of their lives - not one who is out for making themselves famous - but one that will obey His voice and His commands, and bring glory to His precious name.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help us to heed your words, and hold steadfast to you. Teach us to listen to the Holy Spirit in our lives, rather than man. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
