Daily Dose of God's Word At
Barbara's EntourageApprehensive About The Future?
Our Thoughts:
Many of you don't know which way to turn. You've been attacked by the enemy and you are worried. Life has gone amiss! Your company has
announced a layoff and, although you haven't been told, you 'just know' that you are going to be one of the first ones to get the cut. You tend to worry about everything. You never feel at ease.
Do not fear! I know you feel alone at times. You feel nobody cares, because 'they aren't worrying' with you, and you don't feel free to talk with others. But, there is one that can
help you through all your fears. He is there with you when the enemy attacks. He knows your fears, your reason for being apprehensive. You may feel that you can't talk to God about your problems because
He wouldn't understand - after all, "I am a human". He only understands spiritual things. Think again! GOD is there for you in good and bad; it doesn't matter what it is.
When you are His child, He wants
to help you through the good and the bad, to bring peace to you in times of trouble. He said come, 'casting all your cares upon him, for he careth for you'. [IPeter 5:7] He didn't say cast 'a care', but all your cares.
He wants your total life to be in harmony. He can give you 'joy unspeakable', but only if you ask. He says,"
[Matthew 7:7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" If we don't ask, then we will never know the peace He can give. We will continually be bombarded by the enemy,
trying to get our life in a fit of disarray, because he knows that we won't go to God with our problems. The enemy waits for you to 'unlock the door' and let him in. And, one way we do this is to not call upon the Lord in our time of
need, but set ourselves to worrying. Stop now and go to God with your problems. He's waiting to answer your prayer.

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, life has gotten us down. Help us to bring you all our problems and cast them on you. We know you are a God of love and want us to be happy. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
