It's Grace!

Our Thoughts:

When we were out this past Sunday, we met up with an older preacher. He liked to talk about God and the Bible. He asked my husband if he knew what Grace was - he wanted to tell us about grace. He said he attended this particular church, where they took him out to a class room. The teacher was teaching on grace, and she asked if anyone could tell her what grace was. This little girl held up her hand, and said, Yes, I can. I go to my grandmother's and she gives me a biscuit. I ask her for some butter and she puts butter AND jelly on it. That's what I call grace'. Exactly! Grace is 'unmerited favor' OR, in, our terms, 'a little more than we deserve or ask for'. Matthew Henry said, " And what is grace, but heaven begun below, in the knowledge,love, and service of God?"

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Heavenly Father, We give you praise! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
