Change My Heart Oh Lord

Our Thoughts:

We often just 'pray', not really thinking of what we are praying. Perhaps we are 'asking' --- not giving thanks to God for how great He has been to us. We mean well, just often stumble over the real prayers that we need to pray - 'seek my face' [ 2 Chronicles 7:14 ]. We sometimes WANT too much, and aren't thankful when GOD is gracious enough to give it to us.

W.W.J.D. (What Would Jesus Do?) was once a big hit among the Christians, especially the children and teenagers. But, as a lady said in church yesterday, you hardly ever hear anything about it anymore. We often 'start something', but lose sight of our objective early on. We need to get wise 'in His eyes', not our own. Let's not be like the five virgins that weren't ready with their lamps trimmed when the bridegroom returned. We need to get close to God today! He is among us. But, one of these days, He is coming as a 'thief in the night' [ 1 Thess 5:2 ], and if we aren't ready, then we will be left behind.

Today, we need to turn our vessel of clay over to the head POTTER, and let Him mold and make us into vessels of honor, that we will be acceptable in His sight. Then we can be the kind of witness that He intended us to be to the world.

His Thoughts

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, change me, Oh, Lord, into the person that you would have me be. Help me be the witness for you that you want. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
