My Church, Your Church, or HIS Church

Our Thoughts:

Today, there are so many churches. There seems to be one on almost every corner in every town. There are more denominations than you can count. And, now there are non-denominations, or churches that aren't beholding to any organizations. There are churches that have 'split' from from denomination or another because of disputes in a particular church. There are apostolic churches, prophecy churches, Christian churches, Protestant and Pentecostal. There are big churches and little churches. There seems to be one for everyone that wants a church today.

Each church has it's on 'doctrine' or beliefs. You can hunt and pick until your heart's desire is met. If one congregation in a denomination doesn't suit you, there will probably be one 'down the street' that does. If the pastor isn't your fancy, there is probably one in the next church who will meet your expectations.

Then, there is God's CHURCH! This is a church of the 'body' of Christian believers - those that meet God's qualifications for salvation. You need only accept Him as your personal Savior, believe on the Word, and trust in Him for your salvation. God sent His Son to earth, to die for our sins, that we might believe upon Him, accept the gift of grace by faith, for our redemption. Then, we are part of HIS CHURCH - waiting until the day we will live with Him forever. Are you part of HIS CHURCH?

His Thoughts

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your son to save us from destruction. I am happy to be a part of Your Church, ready for your soon coming. I give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
