The Mustard Seed

2000  Our Thoughts:
A mustard seed is the smallest seed, yet can grow up to be a tall herb. Therefore, it is spoken of as a 'tree' in the herb family. It is also a pure seed, so it can't be a hybrid.
Each of us start out with a measure of faith, like the small mustard seed. It's up to each of us to build on that faith. We begin by studying the Word, getting it deep
within us. We continue to study, to listen, and to learn, and to meditate the Word day and night. Our faith builds as the gospel builds up
within our souls.
God's Thoughts:
Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the Word, and for the faith it has brought to us. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
