Daily Dose of God's Word At
Barbara's EntourageIt's All About Love
Our Thoughts:
Love is the mainstay of a happy life. We want to be loved, to feel that others love us. It makes us feel better, and we want to look good, do things for others and for ourselves.
But, there are so many that feel unloved, although they may be. Their life is miserable because they feel they are unloveable. Things aren't going the way they would love for it to go. Even though you try to assure them they are loved,
they still feel as though nobody would love them.
There was once a man and his bethrothed that found she was 'with child'. He loved her, but he was afraid others would look down on them. But, he was assured this would be different; after all, she was a virgin and was with child
by the Holy Ghost. His love for her won out and soon the baby was born. People came from all over to witness this miracle of birth. One can only wonder how many looked down on them with scorn, just 'knowing' they had done wrong, although they hadn't.
There are always those that choose to believe the worse of any situation, especially one like this one.
God chose to send His only begotten Son to this earth through Mary, His Chosen Virgin, and for Joseph to be the earthly father of His son. There
can be no other love like the love of God. He so loved us that He sent his 'pride and joy' to earth for us. And, now the love of God lives within each of us Christians, through His Spirit. Let your love shine this Christmas season to all those that
feel unloved!
His Thoughts
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we know this is a tough season for some. They feel unloved and Christmas time just piles on more worry. Help each of those to find your love and know that, whatever the world brings their way, they can always rely on your love. We give you praise! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
