Time gets away from us so easily. Here it is the last few hours in the past year, and it seems to have literally flown by! Where have all the minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months gone?
How much have we accomplished this year? Did we meet our expectations, our goals? Or, did we become complacent in our life, forgetting how quickly time leaves us, never to return, and lose out on things that could have made life easier? Did we serve God the
way we intended? Did our New Year resolutions (if you made one) get lost in the shuffle?
We might say we are in 'the last hour' of the year. Yet, we could be in the 'last hour' of our life. Have you done what you wanted with your life? Have you been as successful as you could have been? Have you missed out on life's luxuries? Have you
stood the test of time - served the Lord with all your heart and soul?
Questions seem so invasive. Yet, we need to ask ourselves these questions, for we know not the time nor the hour that the Lord will return for His people. Are you ready? Have you counted the cost? Are you among the eternally assured, or among the lost? Only you and God know
the answer.

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, the end of this year is very near. We know that your coming is imminent. Help us all to be ready to go, when you call our name. We give you praise! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
