His Word Is Truth

Our Thoughts:

It doesn't matter what decision we make in life, the Word of God is still truth. It needs no defense, in that regard. God said His Word was Truth; therefore, it is Truth!

We may be financially destitute, but God's Word says, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." [ Phillipians 4:19 ]

We may have what we think is a bad disease or a killing disease. But, the Word says, "by whose stripes you were healed". [ I Peter 2:25 ] His Word also says, "My brethern, I wish above all things that thou prospereth even as thy soul prospereth." [ III John 2 ]

We can profess life or death with the tongue. But, God has come to give us life, and give it more abundantly. He didn't bring us troubles and trials. We cause our own troubles and trials through our disobedience in the Word. We fail to get the Word in us, in order to battle these circumstances that come in our lives. We can say we have 'faith' all day, but if the Word isn't in you, and if you aren't exposing yourself to the Word daily and keeping it IN your spirit, then, these things will come upon you. Faith is built through studying and meditating in the Word. God gave us a measure of faith, but it's up to us what we do with it.

Praise and worship settle our spirit. When we find ourselves drifing over into depression, anger, resentment, etc., over our situation, we should immediately begin to praise and worship God. Get your spirit on the right track, and your life will follow!
