There may be someone that is facing the possibility of a premature death from a terminal illness. There is healing 'in the wings'! The doctors will say it is 'terminal', but God's Word says 'by his stripes you were healed'. [I Peter 2:24] Your body may be telling you that you are not feeling so good, and things look bleak. But, God Word says he 'will supply all your need according to his riches in glory.' [Phillipians 4:19] Our need sometimes isn't what we think it to be. God knows exactly what we are in need of at any given time. His ways are not our ways, and his thought are not our thoughts. [Isaiah 55:8] He knows our life, our mind, and our body. He knows our spiritual needs. That is where change is most needed!

Don't be in despair, if your doctor says you are terminally ill. Look to God, who is the author and finisher of your faith. [Hebrews 12:2] He will sustain you through all you may have to endure. When you are a child of the King, you are assured of a new body! You may be healed here on earth, or you may get that new body in a new land! You shall be changed from a body racked with pain to a new one! The Word says that 'this mortal must put on immortality'. [I Corn. 15:53]

Take heart, my friend! You shall be changed - first, here on life, through the new birth in Christ, and then, when you go to be with the Lord! Whether we receive our healing while we are still alive, or when we meet the Lord, we shall be changed for the better! Doctors have medicines and treatments to bring about healing here on earth, but only GOD has 'healing' for our souls!

God's Thoughts:

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, our healing is in you, whether it be body or spiritual. We will have a new body, whether it is through a miracle here on earth, or through the resurrection. We give you thanks for your saving grace and mercy! We give you praise! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
