Our Eulogy

2000  Our Thoughts:
When you've gone the last mile, and come face to face with death,
how is it with your soul?
Man looks on the outward appearance to judge how you are. We can put on a happy face -
pseudo - and one would never be the wiser. But GOD knows; nothing is hidden from Him.
You're facing eternity:
- You've 'run the race'.
- You've lived your life.
Now, how is it with your soul?
Have you 'fought a good fight', 'kept the faith'? Can He say, "Well, done, thou good and faithful servant"?
God's Thoughts:
1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us to run the race with confidence, and keep our eyes stayed on Jesus. We give you praise! In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
