 Our Thoughts:
The war in Iraq has brought much blood shed. It is happening through warfare between the Coalition forces and the Iraqi soldiers. Suicide bombings
are also being targeted toward our soldiers. There is no doubt that much more blood will flow before the war is ended and Iraq is free and there is a regime change.
There is one who shed His blood for us freely.His precious blood ran freely from his wounds, down the cross, and to the ground. He gave His life willingly that we could have freedom from satan's wiles and live
through the Grace of God.
God was willing to give up His only Son, that we might have freedom from the bondage of sin. He loves us that much, that He would do that so everybody would have the chance to live eternity with Him. Satan may attack, but he has no power over
the Christian following Christ. Through the blood of Christ, we have been made free, free to worship Him in Word and Spirit, free to live our lives for Christ.
God's Thoughts:
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, life is precious, and freedom isn't free. There is a price to be paid and your Son paid the ultimate price. Help us to follow after you, that we may, too, have life eternally with you. We give you thanks and praise due your precious name. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
