Fine-Tuning Our Spirit
Our Thoughts:
We are constantly fine-tuning something in our lives. We fine tune the automobiles to make them run more efficiently.
We fine tune the radios to hear the music better. We are forever making adjustments in our computer settings so they will work quicker!
We adjust the air conditioner settings to be cooler in the summer - adjust the thermostat to make it warmer in the winter. It's fine-tune
and adjust all the time!
How often do we think about fine-tuning our Spirit man? We need to obey the voice of the Lord, to live by His commandments, and not the worldly ways.
We need to adjust our thinking to that of the Spirit, and not of the flesh. LISTEN CLOSELY and hear what the Lord says!
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I want to walk closely with you, to hear what you say, and to live in the Spirit, killing the deeds of the flesh. Help me to walk in the Spirit always. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
