Devastation

Our Thoughts:

Parts of the United States are known for the tornadoes that come through in the Spring. This Spring is no different. Bad weather has cropped up recently and spun many tornadoes. Many of these tornadoes have reeked havoc upon many states, many homeowners, and businesses. Many people have lost their lives. I just heard that the tornadoes spun by this weather on Monday night has killed as many as 37 people.

The weather stations usually get out the message of impending storms very quickly. And, they usually spot tornadoes and warn us in time to seek shelter. But, not all things are protected by shelter. Businesses can't be moved to a 'safe place', and sometimes people get caught at the wrong time in a storm. People should really heed the warnings given out by the weather forecasters when an impending storm is coming up - seek shelter immediately in a tornado warning.

Like the weather, the enemy seeks to bring devastation to all he can. He gives you pieces of 'truth' and leads people astray. He causes them not to be under the protection of the Almighty God when they really need protection. They are out from under the shelter of His loving arms, when the need arises. The devil will do anything to cause one to stay away from God, and he will even try to pull a Christian out from the safety net.

If you hear that little voice telling you something that you know is wrong, do not pay attention. Seek the protection of the Almighty. Run into His loving arms and take those cares to Him. The power of God is stronger than any power that the enemy can throw at you. The enemy is up to no good, but the Lord can take those 'storms of life' from you, and give you peace!

God's Thoughts:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, teach us to run to you for protection at the first sign of the enemies threats. He will only bring us hurt, but you can give us life eternally. We give you praise. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
