Believe It Or Not

Our Thoughts:

Many of you will remember Ripley's "Believe It Or Not" artwork that appeared in newspapers. It was given the name because of the lack of another name to give the artwork. It went on to become a TV show, starring Ripley, who died after a number of the shows.

Many people take the attitude about the Bible that you can 'believe it or not'. Many people are say they are believing for healing. But, then, they say, "I know God won't heal everyone." No, He's not going to let us water down the Word - you either believe he said 'by His stripes YOU were healed', or you don't. Many are in need, so they go to God. But, they kill their prayer with their words - "I know God isn't listening to my prayers. I've never got my needs met before." No wonder you haven't received what you need - you ask in unbelief. Either you believe GOD will do what He said He would do, or you don't. Which is it? We can't have it both ways.

So many have taken scripture and tried to prove it wasn't what it says. There's there the mistakes begin to show up in the lives of those that try to prove GOD isn't who He says He is, or He won't do what He has promised. The atheist has taken big strides to prove that the Word isn't real - that it doesn't work. Well, it's not going to work for that person. But, for those of you, who will place their FAITH in Him, and not waver, then He will do what He has promised. He will meet your need, heal your body/marriage or whatever you need healing in. He wants obedience from us, and He will do the rest.

God's Thoughts:

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help us keep our minds stayed on you and your Word. The enemy is out to destroy us in anyway he can, even through the Word, when we aren't fully relying on you for all our need. Give us strength to hold on, regardless of how things look. We give you praise! In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
