Our Thoughts:
Our children are near and dear to our heart. And, when the grandchildren come along, they steal our hearts completely!
Our smallest grandson has been with us for the day. He has the smile that will captivate an audience, and the trust that
most of the adults would love to be able to say they had. A child is able to place their trust in almost anyone, or anything. They do what you ask, no matter what it might be.
They take for granted that you won't hurt them, or require them to do something that might bring them pain. It's just a child's nature to trust.
A child trusts 'man'. But, we should place our trust in someone who's able to deliver us from all our troubles. GOD is that someone. He said he's never leave nor
forsake us. He's there in time of trouble, waiting to give us comfort.
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, as a child, we're taught to trust. Help us to continue to trust, but place our trust in the One who will always be there for us - Christ Jesus, our Lord! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
