There are many last days in our lives: the last day of school, the last day before graduation, or the last day in a stay in the hospital or at camp. The state gives us until the last day of the year to get our property taxes paid. There's always a last day that you can pay a payment without a penalty on an account. Many last days! There's also the last day of the week, of the month, and, then, of the year - the place we are today.

There is a last day in all our lives that we can't skip over. It's appointed unto man a time to die. And we won't know until that moment when that last day is for us. So, we need to make preparations to be ready when it arrives. We need to make ourselves ready for that approaching day by surrendering ourselves to God, repenting for all our sins, and staying in the Word. The Word gives us power to overcome the enemy so we can make it through to the LAST DAY, when we will be with Him. So, on this last day of the year, make sure you are ready to meet the Savior!
