This year is the year to campaign for the highest office in the land - office of the Presidency of the United States. The democrats have already gotten into the swing of things, having already had several primaries. The candidates have gone down to only two, both running neck and neck, so to speak. The President will be re-running for the republicans. He hasn't gotten into the swing of the race yet, but that hasn't kept his name from coming up over and over. According to the opposition, the race is going to be lost by him. According to their assessment of his time in the President's office, he hasn't done what he said he would do. But, usually, when a race is being run, you get lots of negative ads, negative speeches, and lots of untruths, because the opposite party is doing what they think needs to be done in order to assure them of a win in the election.

The nation is looking forward to a fervently run campaign, and an election of 'their' candidate. Of course, only one candidate can win, so someone is going to be disappointed.

There is only one race that we should be really running to win. There is no alternative to this race, for no other race will win you this prize. The President's race will assure you of four years in the White House. This race assures you of a place to live eternally. There are no candidates to go up against, nobody to defeat. It is between you and your Redeemer, Jesus Christ, our Lord. So, run with care, with great zeal, and run with the expectancy to win!

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, we know there is a day coming soon when you will return for your Bride. Help us to run the race with ferventness, and keep on fighting the good fight of faith, that we will be ready to meet you when you come. We give you thanks and praise. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
