The Last Days

2000  Our Thoughts:
Every month must come to an end, and another one starts. Today is the last day in
May, 2000. It could just as well have been the 'last day' of our lives, or of the world. God could come today. He might come just any day.
In these last days, there will be many, as there have been before, that will question whether or not we are definitely living in
'the last days', as spoken of in the scriptures. Look around us and see the things that have come upon this land, the perils and plagues! God is
not a God of lies; what HIS WORD says will come to pass. We need to keep our eyes stayed on HIM, to stay in the scriptures, and listening for His voice to
speak. And, when he speaks, we need to obey. If we obey, then we will 'occupy till I come' [ Luke 19:13 ].
God's Thoughts:
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2 Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we know, reading the Word, that we are in the last days of the world as we know it. Help us to keep our eyes on you, never straying, so we will hear the trumpet sound! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
