How Far Will We Go With Diversity?

dotOur Thoughts:

I respect people that are different than me. God made us all individuals, and gave us the ability to be our own person. But, He also commanded us to live by His commandments. I do not believe that meant to diversify to please people that aren't satisfied with the truth.

In our society today, so much diversity has taken place that Christianity is starting to take second place to all other religions, even though this country was founded on the truth of God - His Biblical principles. I don't think we are to down others for their beliefs, nor are we supposed to treat anybody as second-rate citizens. But, it seems that Christians are bearing the brunt of the hatred in this day and age. We have had to give up prayer in our schools to satisfy one person who didn't believe in the God of the Universe. Another person is trying to get God taken out of Pledge of Allegiance. Also, one is trying to get the 'In God We Trust' taken off our money. Today, I read that a town in Michigan is allowing Muslims to call their people to prayer five times a day over a loud speaker. Yet, the City Council has chosen to start their meetings with a 'silent prayer'. To me, that's no prayer at all - because prayer isn't silent.

How long is it going to be before they come into our churches and tell us we can't pray in our churches? You think it's not coming? Well, we never thought all the things that's happened would ever happen here in America, but they have. So, be on the watch for anything that might be Christian to be attacked! You might be asked to 'diversify' in your religious beliefs!

dotGod's Thoughts:

Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

dotOur Cup:

Heavenly Father, your truth is what our country was founded on. But, man seems to want to diversity to satisfy those that aren't into the truth of God. Help us to hold to your commandments, regardless of what comes our way. Help us not to diversify in order to be popular. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
