Take A Stand

Our Thoughts:

Many of us believe in lots of things, but are not willing to take a real stand for those beliefs. Most Christians wanted prayer to stay in the schools, yet, put no voice to those wants, so ONE woman, an athiest, won over the courts, and got prayer removed. One by one, Christians are losing in the courts, more and more people are coming against anything that is remotely Christian, and we are slowly, but surely losing the battle. Christianity is becoming more and more the religion that is less recognized. Our children aren't allowed to pray in school; yet, if your child is Muslim, then, their belief is to pray every so often. So, those school children get to have time to 'pray to their god'. Am I missing something here, or is our courts gone a little haywire? Where is the separation of church and state there?

We need to step up and take a stand in what we believe. We need to proclaim the name of GOD is to be praised! HE IS the Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, and there is no other way to Him, but through Jesus!

We have a true Christian occupying the White House. From the very first, he has been unashamed to share his faith with others, or profess GOD as his Saviour. There have been only a few before him that have done this. We all need to follow suit, let our voices be heard in this dying, sinful world. JESUS is LORD, and He is worthy to be praised! And, we should never let anyone deny us that right, or try to intimidate us, to keep us from professing Christ in our public lives! God is ever with me, whether I'm in the private or public sector. How can we call ourselves Christians, if we are too ashamed to share our beliefs, or have to separate GOD from our lives, if we are on a job? We need to use President Bush as an example. We don't have to flaunt our Christiantiy, but let it show in word and deed daily!

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, Help us to take a stand in the world today, to make a difference. Do not let us be ashamed to proclaim the gospel as Truth to those that are lost. Help us to stand true to the Word always. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
