Barbara's Entourage Make Your Vote Count For Jesus!
 Our Thoughts:
One more day until election day! And, one more day until we exercise our right to vote for what is right! Too many of us go unprepared to the
the voting booth, unsure of whom we need to vote. Candidates speak lots of rhetoric, and the media has a way of speaking that can make or break a candidate. Sometimes, they can use the candidates'
own words to hurt him, taking them out of context.
You can rest assured that this election isn't going unnoticed by God. He has a plan, and with or without our help, he will succeed with His plan, not man's. He has given us explicit instructions to go by in the commandments.
If a candidate does not go by these instructions, if he or she fails to comply with them, then you should re-think your choice in this election. Does he or she truly show you that they have the love of GOD within their hearts? Do they really show
compassion for the people, a willingness to try and do the right thing, without passing the buck to others? Do they speak with an authoritative voice, as though they know what to do in any situation, or are do they 'have a plan' that they won't share
with the public?
The VOTE we cast tomorrow decides the future of our nation and the future of our children and grandchildren. A vote for the wrong person can put our nation in a downward spiral. A nation in the hands of a person wanting POWER is a bad thing! But, the nation whose leader
is listening to the voice of GOD, relying on His leadership in his life, will guide the nation, not turn it over to someone else to run! Our President is to run the nation to the best of his ability. But, without concern for every person in this nation, a President will not be running the country 'for the people', but
for what he can get out of it. Some candidates are out for POWER, to show the world that he can reach 'his goal', which is to be President, the highest honor in the land. AND, it is an honor to be chosen President. BUT, some abuse the honor bestowed on them! And, if we aren't very careful who we choose, and vote without searching our hearts,
going before GOD, and voting biblically, then we are going to reap what we VOTE.
Getting Out The Christian Vote: Why Your Choice Matters

Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we know this election is important for our country. Let each person search their heart and come before you, before casting their ballot tomorrow. Lead, guide and direct us in this critical time. We give you praise. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
