Strength

Our Thoughts:

Worry runs rapid in our lives these days! There is always something over which to worry. The teacher didn't give Johnny the grade he should have had on his report card; the power bill is too high; the job is too stressful, among a hundred other things!

Our familes seem to be among our biggest worries. Either the children are worrying you crazy, or perhaps your spouse isn't the easiest person with which to live. Then there's sisters and brothers with which you may be having problems; personality conflicts! That's hard to deal with. Just imagine growing up with someone, always sharing your life, and, then, when they are grown, they don't have time for you anymore! Very hard, I am sure! But, there is One who gives you strength to bear every burden.

God's Thoughts:

Psalms 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Our Cup:

Father, I know, in times of trouble, you can be found. Thank you for bearing each burden and giving me the strength to get through every trial. In Jesus name, Amen.
