A Price On Everything!
 Our Thoughts:
There's a price on everything! Just ask my husband! We were out shopping tonight,
and I got carried away in the thread department. I loaded up on a new crochet book for afghans, new crochet needles, and lots and lots of beautiful colored
threads! I saw my husband coming down the aisle towards me, just smiling. I asked what he was smiling about, thinking he had run into
a friend and had been talking. Instead, he said, "All of this is yours? Wow, hobbies can be costly, can't they." I said, sure, but
you'll enjoy it!
There is a price on everything. Even we were 'bought with a price'. God sent his Son to earth, and he gave his
life for a ransom. He shed his blood for the remission of our sins. He paid the ultimate price - a life for all ours - and it was debt he
didn't owe, yet he freely gave his life so that we could go free!
God's Thoughts:
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, it was your Son you sent to pay the price for our sins, that we might go free. We will forever give you thanks and praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
