Our Thoughts:
Many believers go through life thinking that what they've done in their lifetime goes without recognition.
They may think that what they do for God is wasted. Our purpose in life should be to please and glorify our Heavenly Father. That is far better than satisfaction of the flesh.
So keep the faith! Man may never recognize you, but, God gives the promise that there will be rewards in heaven for what we do in this life in service to Him.
God's Thoughts:
2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us to keep our eyes centered on you, as we go through life serving you. Teach us to work for you and enjoy the time we spend, knowing that, one day, you have a crown laid up for each of us! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
