Blessed With Riches

2000  Our Thoughts:
We often comment on how 'poor' we are. We sometimes say this in the midst of great blessings!
We can't be 'rich' and 'poor' at the same times, folks! Sorry to burst your bubble.
If you are a born-again Christian and have Jesus in your life, then you are among the richest in the world. Oh, you may not have monetary gain, but you have
far more! You have an assurance of eternal life with the Father! When you became His Child, then you became an heir of God, heir with Jesus!! Just think about that for a moment!
Now reflect on this: Many spiritually rich Christians make themselves poor with their doubt, complaints, and unbelief!
God's Thoughts:
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Proverbs 13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us to realize and lay claim to our rich heritage in Jesus Christ. Keep us from admitting we are poor, when, in reality, we are the richest in the world. We know your Son as Saviour. We give you praise. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
