Praise God Anyway!
Our Thoughts:
Has today started out bad for you? Everything may seem to go wrong, but praise God anyway. Don't let the devil cheat you out of your blessings!
Are your children giving you a bad time? They never mind you anymore, it seems? Has your spouse left and said he/she is never coming back? Have your
crops failed on the farm? Are the bills coming in and no means by which to pay them? Your car won't start this morning? There seems to be nothing for which to praise the Lord. God inhabits the praises of
his people. To inhabit, means to 'live in, or fill'. Therefore, give him the sacrifice of praise, when you don't feel like praising.
God's Thoughts:
Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, your word says you inhabit the praises of your people. Help us to continually give praises to your name, regardless of how we feel. We give you all honor and glory due your name. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
