Doubt and Unbelief or Faith?

Our Thoughts:

Ever had a pain and called someone to pray and they immediately start saying, "It's a heart attack; you need to get right to the emergency room?" Now, these are people that are old enough in both age and the Word to know that prayer works wonders! And I am sure there are some of you saying, "well, it pays to be safe." How safer can we be when we turn our entire lives, and I do mean ENTIRE lives over to GOD and let Him have the situation?

My Mother is one who has trusted God with her health for about 50 years! She knows her hurts and pains and when she needs prayer. She has fully trusted GOD to get her through lots of sicknesses. Yet, when she calls on another widow woman to pray, this person says, "I've had 3 heart attacks; I know what they are like," yet, no two people experience the same kind of attacks. Although I am the daughter, there is no way I could force my Mom, who is strong on God's Word and has faith that God will heal her, to go to the hospital, unless she feels the dire need! But that's what this woman expected one of her kids to do - just force her. But, I believe the Bible teaches us that 'your faith' can 'move mountains'.

Where is everyone's faith now days? Doubt and unbelief has taken over the faith of many.

God's Thoughts:

Luke 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Our Cup:

Heavenly Father, help us to overcome our doubt and unbelief and place our trust and faith fully in you. We give you thanks and praise. In Jesus name, Amen.
