Fire In The Belfry!!
 Our Thoughts:
Now that I have you attention with the 'catchy title'.....it's July 4th, Independence Day in America, and
time for fireworks. In fact, my husband, daughter and her children have been out tonight, lighting and enjoying them, since they won't be here at dark tomorrow night.
July 4 and Labor Day are our main "fire" works days!! Notice, I said fire. Hopefully, we will have no fires started with the fireworks, since most things are dry around here,
and no rain is in sight.
Today, as you enjoy Independence Day, hopefully you will have the 'fire of God' within your bones!! I grew up with the term "on fire for God". Never really knew what it meant, but, now I know,
when you have the Holy Spirit within you, you certainly have the 'fire and power' of the Lord God Almighty!
God's Thoughts:
Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I pray that each of us has the fire of God within us today. We praise you for the sweet Holy Spirit that resides in each one of us. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
