Daily Dose of God's Word
At Barbara's Entourage
Corresponding Action
Our Thoughts:
Many times, in the New Testament, God said, "Thy faith hath made the whole". To the woman with the issue of
blood, that touched his garment [ Matt 9:21-22 ], to the blind man [ Mark 10:52 ], and the leper at Samaria [ Luke 17:19 ], God said, "Thy faith hath made thee whole". Each of these people believed that
they could be healed, and they 'acted' upon that belief.
We can say we 'believe' forever, but if we never put any 'corresponding action' with what we say we believe, then it will never happen. Corresponding means 'to be in agreement, harmony, or conformity.'
react on the Word. Even Abraham, [ Rom 4:19 ] was not weak in faith, and never considered that he and Sara were too old to have a child. He never got over into unbelief, but believed God and gave Him glory.
God's Thoughts:
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, we ask that you help us stay in faith, to act upon the Word as it pertains to our lives. We give you praise, honor, and glory. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
