Majoring In Minors Our Thoughts:
When one attends college, there is a choice to be made for the major and a minor.
We know that a minor is of lesser importance than the major, since it's the secondary area of specialization in your education. But, these days, it seems, here around our house, we are constantly 'majoring in the minors'. Examples:
- Use hard butter or soft butter?
- Hang the toilet tissue on the wall, over or under?
- Fluff the pillows or not?
- Which side of the pillow case goes inward, when putting the pillows on the bed?
- How to use the toothpaste: do you roll it from the tube, or squeeze it in the middle?
- To use the microwave or the oven?
- Regular coffee or decaf?
- Peel the cucumber or tomato, or eat them with the skin on?
- AND, today - which way do you slice an onion - crosswise, or in wedges?

There are no set rules on any of the above questions, only personal preferences.
But, it sure can upset an otherwise smooth-running household, when all in that household don't agree on those things.
God has rules for his 'children'. He expects us to honor those rules diligently. There's no two ways
to do something, no either or, no choices to be made, other than, 'will you obey, or not?'.
God's Thoughts:
Psalms 119:4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, help us to follow you in all our ways daily. Without you help, we realize it's impossible
to keep your commandments. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
