How Much More Will He Give?
Our Thoughts:
The children's sandbox outside of our kitchen window, with new, sparkling, clean sand, is a product of
a loving grandfather. This sandbox has been in our yard for years, for all our grandchildren, and the sand had 'run it's course', and needed renewing. Oh,
that hadn't stopped the grandkids from playing in it. But, tomorrow, the little boys will be here for a week, and I am anticipating the look on those faces,
when they see that new sand, and those toys that Papa bought just for them to play with in that sandbox.
Our grandchildren are like our own children; after all, they are an extension of us, through our children. So, we give to them as we did to
our own children, and perhaps even more, now that we can afford more than we could when our children were young. We sometimes give out of fondness, not out of need.
Our heavenly Father knows what we need, what we desire, and what is best for us.
God's Thoughts:
Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Our Cup:
Heavenly Father, I'm so thankful that you always know what is best for your children, and give accordingly. Help us to be more like you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
