Hello from Barbara's Entourage
Spam or Lemons
Imagine opening up your email to find a note that says your Christian Blog has been flagged as spam. You are not able to post anything until it is checked to make sure it isn't spam. Also, if you don't put in a request for review in a certain amount of time, the host will automatically delete the Blog. Then, all your hard work has gone up into thin air.
Well, that is exactly what happened to me this morning. I opened up my mail only to find a note from Blogger telling me that my Blog would be unavailable to use for possibly 4 business days due to being flagged as a spam blog. I had not posted in 8 days until yesterday, so I figured a video of Obama had triggered the flag. I immediately went to the Blogger form the email sent me to and requested a review. I spent the next couple minutes informing a few friends that I had been taken off the Internet for all purposes other than reading. And then something within me said pull the Blog up again, which I did, only to find myself logged into my account! Now these things don't happen by chance!
So it is with us when we are serving God to the best of our ability. One minute everything is fine, and the next minute, the world seems to be a place of fault. The enemy doesn't like what you are doing, who you are - among a host of other things - and your life is turned topysy-turvy! No matter what you do, things just don't seem to go right. But being a Christian means never giving up or giving into the enemy! We are taught to put our trust in God, one who loves us, who is our protector and our provider. And, when we do this, things will come to order. The enemy can't harm one of God's children. Like with Job, he may try us until we think we are going to die. But, if we hold on, place our trust in God, then the enemy can't touch us.
Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Life may bring us lemons at times, but, if we learn to place our faith in the one true God, then we are able to make some good lemonade!! So never give up nor give in to the enemy. God is there for you every minute of the day, to help you through the obstacles that fall into your life.
