Hello from Barbara's Entourage
Women love sales!! And, today was a great day to go shopping at the mall. One store had everything on sale, and if you got there and bought before noon, you got more off. And, then, they had in-store coupons for another $10 or $15 off!! So, I went, and yes, I bought!! But, I got tremendous savings on things that I wouldn't normally buy at regular price, given the cost for a tall person.
Women seem to be able to 'sniff out' a great find. I have this great friend who 'sniffed' out bargain shoes - oh, not BARGAIN, in that they were cheap shoes, but bargain in price. She was on a trip and came home with loads of shoes stuffed in her suitcase! She thought about carrying them on board the plane, but was afraid security would snatch them (shoe bomber scare!).
People go after all sort of bargains - bargain basements, bargains at the thrift store or consignment shops, sales at the grocery store (take your coupons!), and much more. But, there is one thing we can always get a bargain on - as it's not for sale. It's free for all those that would accept the gift. And, that's the catch - accept! Many stand on the outside looking in the door - but never step up and touch the door bell.
This free gift is the gift of salvation through grace by faith. If you are reading this and know someone who doesn't know the Lord as his/her personal Savior, why not share with them how easy it is to have God come into your life. Bargains go and come - may be good, may be bad - but this one will always be there for the accepting. Bargains here on earth can't go with you, but this one will go through life with you, to the grave, and on into eternity.

1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
