TOP OF THE MANTLE

Hello from Barbara's Entourage
Today has to be a very sad day for all the families of the NASA crew on the Shuttle Columbia. My son called to ask if we were watching the news. We were not, so he told me to tune in. When I did, all I could see was the bits and pieces of the re-entry of the shuttle Columbia into the air space over Texas.
Our hearts go out to those family members whose hearts are surely breaking on the news and fate of their loved ones. Life will never be the same for any of them. But, peace can be found through Jesus Christ. He is in the mending-heart business. There is a peace that He can give that can come from no other person or thing. That heart that is breaking now can be calmed.
Today we pray for the crew, that they all knew God as their personal Savior and are now within his loving arms. We pray for those family members left behind, that God will take them under his wings, console their hearts and minds, and help them through these next days and months. Their lives are forever changed, but God can give them peace from all the hurt and pain they are now experiencing. May His love surround them at this moment and forever.
