There's been something for everyone - from cold to warm. I prefer the in between, since I'm normally a cold-natured person. You see an array of short sleeves to light-weight coats, shorts to long pants. You can certainly tell that FALL is coming in! I'm happy to report that I'm mending quite rapidly. The Lord has been good to me, in that I have been off the walker for over a week, thanks to the preceptive doctor I have. I'm walking 1 to 1 1/2 miles per day, back to going to soccer games for my grandchildren. Even Saturday, I attended a tournament of two games and walked up the street to eat and back to the field. I've been told that is quite an accomplishment for someone only 2 1/2 weeks after surgery. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. (You can tint your pumpkins orange. Mix red and yellow food coloring and add to marshmallow mixture). Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. (Loyal chocolate lovers can substitute Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereal). Measure 1/2 cup warm mixture and shape into pumpkins. Makes 12 pumpkins. Create eyes, nose and mouth with candy such as M & Ms etc. Use a piece of licorice for the stem.
